In this mode, the WL-HDD connects wirelessly to an already existing Access Point. No devices can connect directly to the WL-HDD wirelessly. Instead, to connect to the WL-HDD, they can either connect to the WL-HDD via:
Wireless computer on access point --> Acess point on LAN --> WL-HDD on Access point
or via
Computer on LAN --> Access point on LAN-->> WL-HDD on access point
Finally, there is a bridge feature enabled in client mode, meaning that standard ethernet devices plugged into the WL-HDD's ethernet port are bridged to wireless. This means that a Computer plugged into this port has access to the LAN via the route:
Computer on WL-HDD -->> WL-HDD on Access point --> Access point on LAN--> LAN
This is a really handy feature.
